​A Notified Body(2624) at the European Commission for product certification and the conformity assessment of plant and equipment in accordance with the requirements of the European directives the Machinery Directive, the Lift Directive and the PED Directive.

In compliance with the criteria of impartiality, independence and competence, as required pursuant to ISO 17065, CERTING performs Third Party validation services in all manufacturing environments excluded from those of accreditation and where the intervention of a Notified Body (Voluntary Certification) is NOT foreseen. 

In addition Certing provides verification of product compliance with the standards required for non-EU markets in the context of international markets.

Finally, CERTING supports companies in the implementation of management systems (in accordance with ISO standards) aimed at their certification.
